Thanks for visiting my name is Zak. Hope you enjoy my first proper blog. So I’m a lover of the arts, passionate about photography, writer of truthful fables, occasional researcher and web designer. Photography has been with me since the days of NHS Glasses, learning from friends, watching my sister use her own 110 camera. It was like a spy’s camera, and i just wanted to use it all the time. But it cost a fortune to develop so it was just for holidays or days out. That’s what I’d would spend my paper round cash on. Madonna, Arcades, Video rentals, squidgy and a camera film (at one point I had six paper-rounds to pay for these teenage essentials). You had to plan accordingly of course. You would be snapping away and then the film would be finished. And most of the time pockets were empty and I hadn’t even factored in the developing costs. I quickly learned patience with photography at least, but waiting for the latest vinyl to be released was a killer. So all these years later I have decided to do something about it, along with my other passion, writing. So I do hope you enjoy these posts, and please let me know your thoughts.
